Zeta and Youth Scholarships

The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., State of New York, Dr. Deborah Cannon Wolfe Scholarship is awarded to a financial and active member of the sorority and the recipient is announced during the New York State Leadership Conference. It recognizes the academic achievements, educational pursuits, and the personal qualities of its applicants. Dr. Deborah Cannon Wolfe was phenomenal in her work as a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., for the national and international community of African descent and for women worldwide. Her accomplishments were bountiful in the area of education and she was the first of her gender and race to break many barriers since becoming the Grand Basileus in 1954.

Pamela Profit was a teacher and dedicated leader of an Archonette club in New York City. Her efforts in helping young girls ages 13-17 develop on a cultural, educational, and personal level were timeless. It is in her memory that this New York State Scholarship for Archonettes is named. It recognizes the academic achievements, educational pursuits, as well as special personal qualities of an Archonette. Scholarships will be awarded to active members of Archonette Clubs of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in the State of New York, who are graduating seniors. The award recipients will receive monetary awards based upon the availability of funds provided through a variety of sources.
